Equilibria

the app that actually gets your stress

Somatic

reading body

activated

strong adaptation response

Somatic measures your body's physical stress signals through heart rate variability, movement patterns, and nervous system activation. It helps you understand what your body is experiencing beyond conscious awareness.

Psyche

knowing mind

focused

morning clarity emerging

Psyche tracks your mental and emotional state through check-ins, mood patterns, and cognitive clarity. It reveals how your mind is processing experiences and managing emotional energy.

clearing

seeking mind and body balance

Equilibrium is a mental and physical space where your body and mind find meaningful connection. The goal isn't perfect scores, it's being in tune with what you need. Perhaps a space between stressed and settled, or a calmness from knowing your mind has your body's back. The app helps you recognise and reach these moments more often.

Your body knows things your mind hasn't quite figured out yet

Equilibria listens to what your body is saying through Health-connected fitness trackers. Think of it as having a conversation with your nervous system, except your nervous system can actually speak. The app uses fancy pants machine learning to learn those signals and turn them into something genuinely useful.

No toxic positivity. No "just breathe" when you're having a panic attack. Just real insights about what your body, and mind, is telling you, delivered with the understanding that some days are harder than others. And that's perfectly okay.

What makes Equilibria different

Actually understands your HRV

This app doesn't just track numbers. It learns your patterns, spots your triggers, and might actually predict when you might need extra support. It's like having a friend who really gets you, except it's maths.

Check-ins that don't suck

You know those survey websites that ask "How are you feeling?" and only give you happy face options? Yeah, this isn't that. The check-ins understand that "complicated" is a valid emotion and "surviving" counts as an achievement.

Visuals that actually calm you down

Inspired by the red earth and open skies of Arrernte Country. Watch the particles float. Let your eyes rest. Sometimes the best meditation is just watching something beautiful move slowly, and you'll watch seasons that tell stories based on your health.

A journal that connects the dots

Ever notice how your stress spikes every third Tuesday? Or how that one meeting ruins your whole week? Equilibria helps you spot patterns you might miss. Knowledge is power, especially when it helps make concrete your suspicions.

Sees trouble coming

The ML model learns your rhythms and can spot a rough patch coming before it hits. It's not magic (it's machine learning), but it feels pretty close when it suggests cancelling that optional thing before you might otherwise realise you need to.

Works for every body

Full VoiceOver support. Wheelchair user friendly. Text that scales. Dark mode that's actually dark. Reduce Motion that actually reduces motion. And adaptive detection for smarts chronic health conditions. Because wellness apps should work for everyone.

The real story

I built this because I got tired of wellness apps telling me to "just think positive" while my PTSD and fibromyalgia were having a party in my nervous system. Turns out, toxic positivity doesn't cure trauma. Who knew?

Equilibria started as my personal "what the hell is happening to my body" tracker. It evolved into something that actually helps me understand the connection between my stress, my pain, and that thing I did three days ago that I forgot about. No judgement. No "you should try yoga." Just data and understanding.

Some days you're crushing it. Some days you're being crushed. Equilibria gets that. It won't send you motivational quotes when you're in survival mode. It won't pretend that breathing exercises fix everything. It just helps you understand what's happening and gives you the information you need to make choices that work for you.

Built by someone who lives it, for everyone who needs something real.

Want to try it?

Equilibria is in beta on TestFlight right now. If you've got an Apple Watch or fitness tracker that talks to Apple Health, come help make this thing better. Fair warning: it might actually be useful.

The beta has all the features working. You might find a bug or two (they're features in disguise). Your feedback helps make sure this thing actually helps real humans with real problems.
