EZProxy for Safari

Easy off-campus access to scholarly materials through your institution's proxy. This Safari Extension enables scholars to use their University/College Library EZProxy or OpenAthens service to access academic articles and books through a library subscription.

Simply set up your URL, check the preferences for closing or keeping the tab, enable the extension in Safari, then click the icon in the Safari toolbar to access articles via your university library. With OpenAthens you only need to know your institution's domain name, and you're ready to go.

Important note: Some institutions use security or privacy settings which may prevent the app from functioning correctly. Your institution must offer either EZProxy or OpenAthens services for this app to be useful. If your institutional proxy is not compatible once configured you can request a refund through the App Store. Click here to request a refund from Apple.
